How it works

Four steps to a status page that maintains itself.

Setup is a few minutes of thinking about your own process. After that the page stays true on the days you do not touch it, which is the whole point.

Total setup

~5 min

From an empty workspace to a link you can paste into an email.

  1. 01≈ 1 minute

    Start from a template

Type the project name and ProjectPulse suggests the closest workflow — web build, app, software, branding, product design, campaign, production, consulting, event, interiors or retainer. The template drops in phases and their usual tasks, so you are editing a plan instead of writing one from an empty screen.

    • Edit every phase and task in the create wizard, before the project exists
    • Blank project available when your process is unusual
    • Client, project name and target date are the only required fields
  2. 02≈ 3 minutes

    Weight the milestones

Give each milestone a weight rather than guessing a percentage. A three-week build carries more than a half-hour kickoff call, so completion reflects effort instead of counting checkboxes.

    • Progress = completed weight ÷ total weight
    • Phase weight rolls up from the milestones inside it
    • Up to 100 milestones per project keeps the page readable

Let the schedule fill itself in

You do not need to date every item. Set dates only where they matter. The rest is filled from phases, dependencies and effort, and the timeline updates when something moves.

    • Explicit dates you set always win
    • Then dependencies, then the enclosing phase window
    • Anything still blank is spread by weight across the remaining time
  4. 04≈ 30 seconds

    Send one link

Share the link. Your client opens a branded page with progress, phases, the timeline, documents and updates — there is no client login in the product, no password unless you add one, and nothing else from your workspace is reachable.

    • Optional passcode or emailed one-time code
    • Rotate the link or switch the page off instantly
    • Notify the client manually when an update deserves an email

Templates grouped by how the work runs.

11 workflows, each with its phases, its usual tasks and the progress view that reads best for it. A template is a head start, never a cage — keep the phases that match how you work and rewrite the rest before the project is created.

Who it's for

Any project a client is waiting on.

If the work runs longer than a week and someone outside your team is paying for it, the same shape applies.

01

Designers & studios

Concept rounds, revision cycles and final file handover, with approvals recorded against the round they belong to.

02

Web & app builders

Sprint-shaped phases with staging links attached as documents and an approval request before launch.

03

Marketing freelancers

Strategy, creative and launch phases, with results reports posted as updates the client can re-read later.

04

Video & photo

Shoot dates, rough cuts and delivery, with client notes arriving against the round they belong to instead of over chat.

05

Consultants

Interview stages, draft findings, workshops and the final report, each with its own approval point.

06

Interiors & build

Site stages, material selections, snagging and walkthrough, photographed and dated as the work progresses.

After it is live

What changes for you, and for them.

You work the board, not a spreadsheet

Tick tasks off in the delivery board as you go. Pending, in progress, blocked, overdue and done are derived from your dates and dependencies, so the plan and the reality never drift apart.

Problems find you early

Health compares real progress with elapsed schedule across every project, and the dashboard lifts overdue milestones, quiet projects and unanswered requests to the top before a client notices them.

One update covers every client

Because each page renders itself from its own plan, running six projects costs the same admin as running one — no weekly round of status emails to write.

The client checks in on their own

Because the page is always current, the natural response to “where are we?” becomes opening the link rather than messaging you.

Requests arrive structured

Issues, questions and change requests come in with a type, a priority and attachments, so nothing is lost in a thread.

The record keeps itself

Every approval, update and delivered file is timestamped, which is exactly what you need when scope is disputed later.

Your data stays yours

Projects, clients and requests export to CSV from their screens, and Settings has a one-click JSON export of the whole workspace.

Set up your first project.

Pick a template, weight the milestones, share the link. No card needed to start.
