Do my clients need an account?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no client login in the product at all — a project page is a single unguessable link. You can add a passcode or require an emailed one-time code if the project is sensitive, but there is never a signup step for the client and no seat to pay for.

What can a client actually do on the page?

See progress, the timeline, phases, updates and documents; answer approval requests in one click; and raise an issue, change request, question or piece of feedback with a priority and up to three attachments.

Will the client be emailed every time I change something?

Accepted Answer

Only when you choose. Updates appear on the page immediately, and you can trigger an email for the ones that genuinely deserve an interruption.

How is progress calculated?

Each milestone carries a weight. Progress is completed weight divided by total weight. Schedule is elapsed time against the planned window, and health compares the two — so the page stays honest even on days you do nothing.

Do I have to give every task a date?

Accepted Answer

No. Dates you set explicitly always win, then dependencies, then the enclosing phase window, and anything still blank is spread by weight across the remaining time. Windows re-plan when things move.

Can I edit the templates and milestones?

Yes. Templates are only a starting point — every phase and milestone can be renamed, reordered, reweighted, rescheduled or deleted at any time, and there is a blank project if your process is unusual.

Is the shared link secure?

Project pages use hard-to-guess links, optional passcodes or emailed codes, link rotation and an instant off switch. The page is built on the server for that one project, so other workspace data is not included.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Projects, clients and client requests export to CSV from their screens, and Settings has a one-click JSON export of your whole workspace. Nothing is locked in.

What counts against my storage?

Accepted Answer

Only the images, PDFs and documents you attach to milestones. Storage is small on purpose — this is a status page, not a file drive.

What happens if I cancel or downgrade?

You keep everything you paid for until the end of the current period, then move to the free plan's limits. Nothing is deleted for you; projects beyond the limit simply stop being publicly shareable.

Can I use my own branding?

On the paid plans, yes — your logo, accent colour and business name, with our badge removed from the page.

Can I plan and manage the actual work here, or only report on it?

You can plan it here. Every project has phases, milestones and tasks with weights, start and due dates and dependencies, and a delivery board that shows what is pending, in progress, blocked, overdue or done. The client page is generated from that same plan, so managing the work and reporting on it are one action instead of two.

What do I actually gain compared with sending status emails?

Three things. You stop writing the same update six times a week, because the page recalculates itself. You get an earlier warning when a project slips, because health compares real progress against elapsed schedule. And you get a timestamped record of every approval and request, which is what settles scope arguments later.

I am a developer, not a project manager — is the setup heavy?

No. Pick a template for the kind of work (website, app, software, branding, marketing, production, consulting, events, interiors or a retainer), adjust the phases you care about, set the start and target dates, and the schedule fills in the rest. A first project takes a few minutes, and you can start from a blank plan if your process is unusual.

Does it help when I am juggling several clients at once?

That is what the dashboard is for. Overdue milestones, projects that have gone quiet and unanswered client requests are surfaced at the top across all your projects, so the one going wrong finds you instead of the other way round.

Can my team work in the same workspace?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on plans with seats. You invite teammates by email, they get a role, and milestones can be assigned to them by name so it is clear who owns what.

Is this a CRM?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no sales pipeline, no lead scoring and no timesheets. It manages client project delivery — phases, tasks, documents, approvals and requests — and publishes the client-facing view of it. Anything that belongs in a CRM stays in your CRM.
